COMP Cams® Announces Engine Builder Of The Year Program For UARA Pavement Late Model Series
COMP Cams® will present Engine Builder of the Year with $1000 in cash and certificates at season ending UARA banquet
Hendersonville, NC (March 12, 2007) - As part of their continued support of America’s grassroots racing, COMP Cams® has announced that it will sponsor the 2007 United Auto Racing Association (UARA) Pavement Late Model Series Engine Builder of the Year Program. At each of the (16) 2007 UARA events, the engine builder of the race winning car will receive a certificate good for $200 in COMP Cams® products. At the season ending UARA awards banquet, the Engine Builder of the Year will receive a certificate for $500 in products and an additional $500 in cash. The sponsorship of the 2007 Engine Builder of the Year Award expands on COMP Cams® previous support of the UARA, which began in 2005 when they participated as a racer contingency award sponsor. Their new increased role with UARA reinforces COMP Cams® commitment to support a wide variety of racing efforts and to reward those engine builders who have helped to make COMP Cams® the absolute leader in valve train technology.
