The 2007 points have shaken up a bit with B.J. Mackey taking over the top spot from Melling Select Rookie leader Matt DiBenedetto with a 29 point advantage.  Roger Lee Newton who collected his first UARA-STARS win at Shenandoah moved from 8th to 5th in the points.  Jeffrey Earnhardt fell out of the top ten and Lucas Ransone moved into tenth positon.  The other top ten drivers are Lee Tissot, Ross Furr, Mark Setzer, Kevin Leicht, Clay Greenfield and Dennis Queen.  At this point there is 116 points seperating the top ten.  That can all change in one night.  The UARA host many determined drivers that are all looking for that first 2007 win.

The Melling Select Rookie of the Year points have also changed.  Matt DiBenedetto still holds the lead but now has Daniel Pope II, Mikey Kile and Matt Leicht moving on up the list.

Coastal Plains Raceway will be host to the sixth event of the UARA and may very well have the sixth different RE Suspension winner. The 2006 event at Coastal Plains saw plenty of action with a total of nine cautions.  Chad Mullis was the eventual winner after starting in the 27th position.
