UARA point’s leader Matt McCall will be hot in the
seat to win the show and increase his point lead
over runner up Jamey Caudill. Caudill will have just
the opposite on his mind.
Will Brandon McReynolds repeat his previous Dillon
accomplishment in May and bring home the checker or
will Rookie Brennan Poole set the pace?
Jamey Caudill had the pole and Poole sat on the
outside pole. It was Poole who led the first lap.
Caudill took the spot for the next 33 laps then it
was McReynolds from there on out.
Poole had been issued a stop and go penalty during
the race and fought his way up through the pack to
bring home a fifth place finish. Could Dillon be the
place for this Rookie to attain his first win?
Series regular Scott Turlington with a new crew
chief is also looking to gain his first UARA
victory, along with Garrett Campbell, Coleman
Pressley and Dylan Presnell to name a few. Each of
these drivers is very capable of winning and it is
just a matter of time before we see them doing just
that.
Former UARA Rookie of the Year Barry Andrews will be
on hand to give the series regulars a run for the
money. Two new comers have pre-registered for the
event as well, Kevin Parsons and Tyler English.
Former UARA Champion and Nationwide Rookie Danny
O’Quinn has entered this weeks event
Racing along with the UARA-STARS will be the Street
Stock, Four Cylinder and Pro Challenge divisions.
Kent Harper will definitely want to capture another
win in the Street Stocks. Chad Lockamy, Chris Peele,
Randy Hall and Chris Womack will have other plans in
place as they followed Harper in that order across
the line before.
Bailey Miles was the previous Four-Cylinder winner
when the UARA was at Dillon with stiff competition
from Kevin Jackson, Toby Milligan, Robert Tighe and
Emory Herring rounding out the top five.
